Saversystems, a leading manufacturer of deck restoration products, offers two high-quality stains for exterior wood. Both Defy Epoxy Fortified Wood Stain and the Defy Deck Stain for Hardwoods offer phenomenal protection for your exterior wood while meeting the Green Performance Standards of the Master Painters Institute (MPI) which takes into account performance and environmental friendliness in light of the latest environmental regulations.

Defy Epoxy Fortified Deck Stain

DEFY Epoxy Fortified wood stain is a MPI Green Friendly semi-transparent penetrating coating that helps prevent water, mildew, and ultra violet damage on exterior wood. With its epoxy fortified synthetic resin, it is able to penetrate the wood cells to block the weather, while allowing the natural color tones to shine throughout. DEFY Epoxy Fortified deck stain is ideally suited for protecting treated wood and can be used on exterior surfaces including: wood home, log cabins, decking, fences, cedar shingles, exterior wood furniture, treated lumber, and all other porous wood substrates. This professional deck stain will give you years of protection for your deck and is easy to maintain. Periodically, as the surface begins to get dirty or dull, simply wash it down with a mild detergent and water. As the weather begins to wear away at the surface and the color begins to fade, a maintenance coat will need to be applied. To check the surface to see if it is ready for a maintenance coat, simply sprinkle a little water on it. If the water is immediately absorbed into the wood, then it is ready to be recoated.

Defy Deck Stain for  Hardwoods

Defy Deck Stain for Hardwoods is a synthetic, semi-transparent deck coating formulated for difficult to penetrate woods, such as western cedar, IPE(pronounced epay) Mahogany, Brazilian Redwood, Massaranduba, Meranti, Pau Lupe, and Teak. It is a VOC-compliant, MPI Green Friendly stain that penetrates wood cells to block out weather and provide protection from water damage. DEFY Deck Stain for Hardwoods can be used on interior/exterior smooth hardwood surfaces including: wood homes, decking, exterior wood (such as Teak) furniture, and all other exotic hardwood surfaces.
