Sealing Brick Floor for Kitchen 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I have just put in a brick floor in my kitchen and would like to seal brick and cement grout. Will using multiple coats give me a SMOOTH seal so we can clean it with a mop or sponge should we drop something on it?
Is it like a urethane coating in that it will be smooth?
Can it be sanded with 0000 steel wool to get out any shine that may result from multiple coats ?

We are trying to achieve a smooth surface that will totally protect floor from all possibilities of stains.

Thank You,
frank

This product should not be built up like it is a poly.

You would be better off with this:

It is not possible to have a buildup without a shine. No it cannot be dulled with steel wool.
