My husband stained our wood deck and some dripped onto the concrete pavers below. Any recommendations on how to get the stain off the pavers?

Not easy as concrete is extremely porous. Try a aerosol graffiti remover from you local hardware store. Spray on and use a stiff brush to scrub out the stain. May not remove all but should lighten a lot.

I recently completed a hi-end renovation in a residential loft in Brooklyn that
has an industrial look. The contractor sanded the existing concrete floor, then
finished it with BEHR interior/exterior wet-look sealer # 985 Hi-Gloss. This
finish is wearing off after less than 6 months. It also shows scuff marks,
retains dirt and is difficult to clean. I'd like to have the floor refinished with a
durable, easy to maintain finish. It should not be opaque; I want a clear or
translucent effect. Gloss is okay. A slight bit of greyish stain is okay, but not
necessary to the look I want. I don't want a fancy pattern or obviously colored
stain. I don't want to conceal previous gouges or blemishes. What finish and/
or process do you recommend? Please be specific about brands. Will the floor
need to be sanded to remove the existing sealer? If not, how should it be
cleaned?

How resistant to earthquakes is concrete? How thick/reinforced would it have to be to declare it pretty much earthquake proof? I keep finding conflicting articles about this. Some say much isn't required, while others praise new technologies in the concrete field that make such things possible.

Any information that could help with either of these is greatly appreciated.
