CretoWood Permanent Sealer is unlike any other sealers. CretoWood is designed as a pre-treatment for wood and decks. Once CretoWood is applied it will penetrate through the layers of cells in the wood, where CretoWood reacts with both the acids and the alkali present in the individual cells of most woods forming an aero silica gel membrane on the surfaces of the cell walls. This process will creat a permanent deck sealer. CretoWood is intended to prevent internal rot and decay. It will not stop the Sun's UV rays from discoloring the wood. You will need to clean and treat your wood with a tinted stain/seal on a regular basis if you want to prevent the wood from turning gray.
