How could you make the deck look like new all the 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Perhaps this unusual since most people like to paint their decks first or any other woods so that it would look new all the time. My advice is to let is age until it gets into its grayish color.

I wouldn't stay until it gets into the pale gray color. It will diminish the sight of the room. Or shall I say that once in two or three years, the deck is given its new color.

By adding a wood deck stain you will strengthen the exposed wood cells, keeping the wood in better condition. It also keeps the wood looking better.

I too want to accept that changing deck colors every 2 to 3 years is recommended and here is a link trying to further some details on the topic.
