Painted Deck 3 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I have a question about what product to buy for stripping off old paint on my deck. Im not sure what type of paint it is, but somebody told me to burn it and if it drips it is an oil based paint. I did this, and it actually didn't drip, it bubbled up where the paint was burning, but it didn't drip. So, im not sure what type of paint it really is, maybe you can let me know of a product you have that might take off both types. Please let me know what you would reccommend for removing this so I can sand and stain this properly.

Sorry but deck strippers do not remove paint. They are designed for semi-transparent finishes not paints. You will need to sand the entire deck.
