I stained an exterior UNCOVERED balcony wooden deck with BEHR semi-transparent (water based) weatherproofing wood stain which is Urethane fortified. Is it necessary or advisable to seal it with a coat of MINWAX Helmsman Spar Urethane as well ?

NO AND THAT WOULD BE A VERY BAD IDEA! NEVER PUT A URETHANE ON EXTERIOR EXPOSED WOOD!

I suspected that, but as the original stain already contained a "fortified urethane", I thought maybe one more coat would be twice the protection.
Thanks for the advice

Different kind of urethane in the Behr. Do not be surprised if the Behr peels.
