waterproofing pergola 3 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Building a cypress pergola along the rear of the house. Demensions are roughly 10 X 24 X 12 high. New wood. Would like to do everything possible during the original build to seal and protect. Location is South Florida about 1/2 mile from the beach. The problem I am having in a product review is the desired color is white. I see no product in that color.
Can I tint the defy products...or use the epoxy sealer then another brand white stain on top....or what?
Thanks,
Bob

The only brand name the has a transparent tint that is White in color is Penofin in the Pacific Pearl Mist. The white is not a popular color for transparents.

It would be a bad idea to apply the Defy epoxy first then another brand on top. This could cause adhesion issues. Defy also is not tintable.
