TOPIC: Remove Behr from Log Home

Remove Behr from Log Home 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have a cottage with pine log siding that was stained with Behr Liquid Rawhide about 10 years ago.
We are wanting to refinish the siding and tried to strip off the stain with Behr stripper. This product didn't remove anything. Can you suggest a stripper that would do the job for us, and what would you suggest we use to restain the siding. We are looking for a stain that will let the natural wood grain show thru.

Thank you.

I am not sure what Behr liquid rawhide is. Is it a film forming stain?
meaning it lies on top of the wood?

Yes it forms a film on the wood it does not penetrate.

Unfortunately there is not a stripper that will remove that easily. The HD80 will be your best chance but it may not be able to penetrate through the finish.
