I am going to place my order today for 6 pails for the Defy. Should this be adequate for about 2400 feet of log cabin siding? I was planning on putting on 2 coats as they suggest and my logs seem very dried out.

Yes that should be the correct amount for your cabin.

Would it hurt the finish to add another coat of Defy Stain? It looks good but I want to make sure that it is protected well!

The Log Cabin looks great! That was the Defy Stain for Hardwoods in Light Walnut.

Thicker isn't better. Make sure to always follow manufacturer's directions and Defy suggests only 2 coats within a 2 hour window of each other.

Is the deck a different color or is it just not done yet?

I believe it isn't done yet. It looks like bare wood.
