Hi,

Can you answer this for me? Last summer I had an IPE deck built and
it was given a coat of Messmer's UV plus for hardwood decks. I need
to put another coat on the deck. Does it still need to be cleaned,
even though it is only 6 months old? I'm going to order a 5 gallon
container of it from you, but want to add a cleaner if necessary (and
what cleaner would you recommend?).

I would clean just to remove the dirt buildup befor applying the Messmers Hardwood Stain. Use the Messmers Part A, it will be very easy. For IPE you will not need the Part B brightener.
