Here is the process used for the majority of wood deck strippers:

1. Pre-wet all wood.
2. Apply the wood stripper liberally to all the wood.
3. Let sit for 10-20 minutes. If need be, mist with water to keep from drying out.
4. Pressure Wash or scrub off old stain.
5. Rinse all wood to remove dirt, grime, and stripper residue.
6. Neutralize with a wood deck brightener. This is very important!

Let dry thoroughly before applying a new stain.
