Easy to apply 3 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 1
Why would this stain be easier to apply then any of the others. As a contractor I would prefer the easy over difficult as long as it lasts just as long as the others.

TimberOil stain is a paraffinic stain that is impossible to overlap or apply unevenly. The parifin oil allows deep penetration of the wood. You could apply this stain to half of the deck one day and the other half the next day and you would not get any overlap marks when dried! TimberOil is loaded with pigment and should have a service life around 18-24 months on a vertical. It also very easy to reapply when needed. A great stain for beginners!

I like the Western Cedar. I think it is a little richer and being that it has more color it should last a little longer.

Easy, cuts down on time, you could do half of the floor, stop in the middle to eat lunch, and finish with no lap marks.
