High Humidity New Deck 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear Sirs:
I live in Louisiana where humidity is high and we get a lot of rainfall. I have a deck about 4 months old built from MCQ treated pine and I want to stain it. I have heard of a product called One-Step that lasts up to eight years because it is 100% stain with no carrier such as oil or water as a base. Do you recommend this or would you recommend another brand for my situation?

Nothing lasts 6 years. It is impossible. The most you will get is 2-3 years on a horizontal surface. The first time you stain your MCQ it will only last about one to two seasons. Doesn't matter on the brand.
