I need help. I installed a paver brick over my patio several years ago and really screwed up. The pavers were a good looking red 2.5-3.5 inch think paver to go over concrete. They are not as think as a regular paver. I was told by the store (Lowes) to put them down and to sweep dry concrete over them to fill the cracks and them sweep off the excess concrete and lightly wet the floor to set up the concrete. What I got was a disaster, the pavers I used were very porous and the concrete got down into every nook and cranny and then entire floor came out saturated with concrete stains embedded in the pours of the pavers. I assume now I should have used sand.

I have done everything in the world to clean the concrete but just cant get the larger part from the pours. I have used some sealers in the past to darken the finish which helps the looks.

Here is my question, what is the best sealer I can use to get a wet look on this patio. That would help the overall appearance. I recently saw a home improvement show that used a 2 part epoxy concrete sealer to get the wet look. What would you recommend for me to obtain a wet look or something to fix this problem?

Thanks

What type of sealer have you used in the past? Water based or solvent based?

I would try 1 gallon of the SuperSeal25 to make sure that it does what you want before purchasing in a larger quantity.

FYI pressure washing does not remove sealers completely. It may not look like it's there but it is still in the voids.
