I applied a semi-transparent dark burgundy stain on my deck without stirring it well. I have four different colours now and the last wall I painted is concentrated colour. Can I paint a lighter non-transparent colour over it to correct the problem (opaque). Stripping the old stain seems like a lot of work.

Yes you can but it probably will not last very long as you are just masking the problem and not fixing the problem. You really should just strip off everything and start over if you have the time.
