One or two coats? 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi – I’m interested in your Super seal Paver sealer product that I plan to use on my Brick paved driveway and I noticed that the recommendation is to use only one coat for a sating/low gloss.

I was wandering

1)if two coats of the product would make the driveway slippery

2) how long would the wet look last with one/two coats

3) how long would this protective coat last before resealing it again

Thanks

Superseal paver sealers should be applied at one coat. Thicker is not better as it will not last any longer and could cause issues with slipperiness. One coat typically lasts about 2 years with minor fading.

I always thought that extra coats would last longer.

Not in relation to outside exterior surfaces. Too much paver sealer can cause premature product failure, discoloration, or slipperiness.
