Blotch on each paver? 3 Months ago

I recently purchased and applied your SuperSealer 25 on my stone pavers. The sealer was applied to a portion of my patio with a sprayer. I noticed once the sealer was dried that it left a blotch on top of each paver. It looks as though the blotches were a result of possibly the sealer drying in the crevices of the pavers . Before I complete the job I want to see if there is a way of avoiding this. Do I need to go with a 1/2" roller nap instead of using a sprayer?

Typically on tumbled pavers you can get "shinier" spots due to the porosity different throughout the stones. The lower areas have more shine since the concrete is smoother there. Usually this evens out/dulls when the sealer cures about 21 days later. The roller may help apply more evenly but you may also pull the sand out (if it is soft) causing it to stick to the top of the pavers.
What type of sprayer are you using?
